I would like to welcome you to Zewail City of Science, Technology, and Innovation, where it is a privilege and a great responsibility to lead such an outstanding institution that has been founded by the late Nobel Laureate Dr. Ahmed Zewail in 2012.

Zewail City aims to prepare a new generation of students capable of thinking critically, mastering the basic sciences and at the same time capable of bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Zewail City’s structure accurately reflects its vision, where coherence and alignment between the University of Science and Technology, the Research Institutes, and the Valley of Science and Technology greatly facilitate Zewail City’s mission to serve our students and our society.

With the help of ZC dedicated faculty, researchers, staff, and students, we achieved remarkable progress within the past few years.

Zewail City became the first Egyptian University to receive international accreditation from the U.S accreditation board ABET, as four programs offered by the university have been ABET accredited.

I am thrilled to witness this year the opening of our new school, “School of business” that has been launched in fall 2023 to fulfill the vision of the City.
