Dr. Sameh Ali to give talk at international meeting
Dr. Sameh Ali, director of Zewail City’s Center for Aging and Associated Diseases, has been invited to deliver a talk at Experimental Biology (EB) 2013, scheduled to be held from 20- 24 April in Boston, USA. EB is the world's largest meeting of scientists and researchers in the fields of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, nutrition, and pharmacology. The meeting will include over 20,000 attendees.

Ali’s talk, entitled “Monitoring reactive oxygen species in synaptosomal lipid rafts” will discuss novel ways for studying oxidative stress in important regions within biological membranes; namely, the lipid rafts. Lipid rafts are cholesterol rich membrane regions that have been implicated in cellular communications, signaling, and cell response to oxidative stress.
EB 2013 is a multidisciplinary, scientific meeting that will feature plenary award lectures, pre-meeting workshops, oral and poster presentations, on-site career services and exhibits.
